Therein lies the problem....you hear many apologists state this is a conformation show and not the BSP. So true...BUT the Sch 111 title has a standard for passing. They would never give the title Seiger to a Sch 1 dog would they???? Why not??? What is the difference in Sch 1 dog and the dogs that are exhibited in these videos. In other words what would be different in these Sch 111 dogs that make a SCH 1 dog unworthy for title of Seiger....in reality...nothing!!!...on paper....Sch111 instead of Sch 1.  So paper isn't really reality.
Most of these dogs would not pass a routine Sch 111 at club level because they would lose so much in off leash exercises alone...any experienced trainer can see that.
In all fairness titles shouldn't be considered for the Seiger title because it denigrates the standard of the title.

hello Gustav. I make no apologies for what is seen here. Just tried to answer questions from my knowledge of shows.

There is no excuse or defense that can be offered.

Lets get one thing clear, if you went to work on the streets with any of these dogs you might as well have a sign on your forehead saying "I'm for the taking, moron in residence".

Anybody who has been in a real life situation WILL not willingly want to have any of these dogs backing them up, and that a fact.

If I had a dollar for everytime a show person have told me their dog is the "real deal" or will "bite for real" or "protect them with their life" I'd be a rich man.

Rik,
I am not singling out anyone when I say apologist, I'm just speaking in General. Folks like you acknowledge the problem, others come up with creative reasons for the circumstances or as a last resort say that the truth is "BASHING" the breed. That's why their posts or opinion have no credibility with me...they are not based in reality on this subject so why believe them on other issues.????

I'd rather have a dog like the female #417 that hits hard and may sneak in a little nip or two than most of those males out there. You can tell she loves what she does.  (Does anyone know her name?  Who is her owner?)
Who knows what the circumstances where outside the ring, or for training??  I hear there was a lot of crap going on by the ring entrance and some owners were trying to hype up their own dogs while also effecting the others waiting to enter.

Of course it's easy for us to judge from our armchairs.

congrats to all who participated, takes a lot more guts to get out there than it does to bad mouth these dogs and owners.

BTW  Griff looked good as well.

Cheers!
Carter
