Abby Normal

LOL nothing helps with a black dog in the dark. How we are still alive after tripping over our boy in the dark at the top of the stairs, getting up in the night is beyond me! He doesn't help by remaining stock still and silent!...until you've nearly broken your neck that is - and then he rushes in like the big hero to try and save you : )  Still it's good they make them with glow in the dark eyes. Doesn't help though :)

Dear god, that dog is huge!  What's he weigh?

He is adorable!

Abby - I have that issue too, although it is more walking through the hallway then at the stairs... she has a habit of walking in front of you, then stopping and turning to make sure you're still there. She's almost killed everyone in this house several times. :P

And we usually play frisbee in the dark - after we get off of work. All I see running back to me is a pair of glowing eyes from the streetlights.

"What's with the coon in the back?"

I swear to god -- funniest thing I've read on here. ;)

Nice pup by the way.. I love the paw action.

Keith - He's not as big as he looks in that photo - he weighs about 36kg and is spot on 26" at the wither. I cropped down the photo to fit it in as well, so he fills the frame which probably makes him look over large. He does have a 'big' presence though and is a coat, which bulks him out more.
Just love your baby black :)

Abby, I hear you about tripping over your black GSD in the dark! :D

My pup is black and when I let her out of her crate in the morning, she's always mililng around my feet trying to get a few licks in before I can find the light switch. I almost broke my neck this morning! LOL

PS. I also though that was a raccoon on the table :D

Lol...Seeing all these pictures of the blacks has pretty well convinced me that my next GSD will be a black.  They are absolutely beautiful.

As a side note......  My husband keeps telling me he gives walking lessons every Tuesday if you need them.  Teeth Smile

Don't they make glow in the dark collars?
