If my greyhound ever found out I said something else I'm pretty sure he would not be happy so I'm sticking with Greyhound.

Always loved the look of German Shorthaired pointers.

There is a kennel not too far from me that breeds GSP's, I like them too! Never really spent time with one, but I did fall in love with a Brittney Spaniel once, if I were to get a smaller dog, that had that spotted pattern. 

I'm with hexe in that my first love was Lassie, a collie, I just wanted to brush that hair! 

I have always admired: Irish Setters, Old English Sheepdogs, Airedales, Visla's and Rhodesian Ridgebacks. I like Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, too, but I heard they are a lot of dog compared to a Lab. 

I'd probably get another collie, this time from one of the few and far between lines that still works their dogs in herding or at least gets titles past an instinct test. I'm also partial to ridgebacks and Beacerons.

Dawulf, funny you sent the blue eyed black tri dog, I have one alot like him. I also love Aussies, used to show/breed them years back.  Now only have 1 blue merle female/1 blue eyed black tri male pup.  They're alot of fun!

So are these cryptic aussies showable? I cant imagine ASCA approving this but then again I havent been in the breed for a long time. Huge fault imo.

I honestly don't know. I *think* I've seen some online with titles, but am not completely sure. I just thought they were pretty, sorta like blue GSDs - a fault, but man are they cool!

CMills - I'd love to see a picture of your dog! Sounds gorgeous. I have a weakness for dark animals with light eyes.
