SOS! Cranberry is just about out of time!!! - Page 2

A very well deserved valium Marjorie! You and Steph are truly saviors to the German Shepherd Dogs .And thanks to starrchar,and EVERYONE that has been kicking in to save these dogs. And to everyone of us that breeds, or has bred a litter of pups, let's all try to pitch in to help save some of these dogs. Just because their owners and breeders are willing to turn their backs on these dogs, DON'T mean we can't step up to the plate for them.(yes, I do know there are a lot that help, and for that, the dogs are grateful. But to those who don't...)

There have been a lot of very  generous offers to save Cranberry, and I thank all of you who have so generuosly offered to help :)

Regardless of whether or not I post on a specific thread, basically the offer stands for any dog that
needs an intermediate place to stay while things are arranged. I have space, a fence, experience
and would be happy to do a little training while the dogs wait for a lift to wherever they are going.
As long as I have room, they are welcome here.... you can add me to your contact lists if you would
like. PM me and I'll give you contact info :)

One of the shelter volunteers just wrote me :) If Cranberry is not adopted tomorrow, and we cant find a transport at the last minute, she has a foster for Cranberry until the transport can get her :)

YAY!  Thank you marjorie for all you do and to those that step up and help.  At this time about all I can offer is moral support.  I appreciate you and Steph and many others that try to right so many wrongs.

Please dont thank me- thats really not necessary. My thanks goes to this breed, that I love with all my heart and soul! I do it for them, for the joy they bring to our lives. If anyone wants to do anything for me, stop, pet your dog, hug him/her and let them know how much you love them. Treasure each day you have with them, for their life goes by in the blink of an eye. Remember, they are not only show dogs, working dogs, etc, but living breathing creatures who want nothing more in life than to love and be loved.

This is great news. I sure hope Cranberry is adopted by the couple and we have another happy ending.  Sadly,  there is no shortage of GSDs ending up on death row, so the money is there for the next GSD in need if it's not used for Cranberry. Thank you again Marjorie! 

It sure would be great if it could be carried over if Cranberry is adopted!

spoke to the shelter this morning. People are coming to look at her when her husband gets off work, so will be sometime this afternoon before I know anything. GSD Rescue of Atlanta just phoned about her, maybe they saw the rave reviews I posted about how she got along with the interested couple's child. The shelter would rather have her go local. Now we are in a holding pattern, once again. I hope they dont take it to the wire. This is nerve wracking!
