I have fed most of the foods listed at one time or another over the years except Fromm an Origen which is so ridiculously expensive I just can't believe people buy it. For that price you could rent a boat an go get your own fish. Usually I feed raw but the mastiff I have now isn't doing well on raw so I changed from feeding him Earthborn (good but the fat comes from canola oil What Smile) to Evangers Rabbit (beef and rabbit) grain free. Never gave them really much thought but since this foster dog came over on the Evangers duck can (yucky) and seemed to do well, thought I would give it a try. I have to say that I'm impressed, not made by Diamond, and actually pretty reasonable.

I have to agree what was said about Diamond and the risks associated with their plants. Salmonella doesn't just go away when the food leaves the cooker. True it can be sterilized but if that was happening then the foods would not be getting cross contaminated. The recall would then be only one brand of food but since it isn't, it's not worth the risk to me. If organisms were this easy to kill, the OR's in hospitals would never make people sick. They sterilize those rooms to the hilt and yet those pesky bugs remain.

***** I just read that the Evanger dry only may be made at Diamond. Back to the drawing board I suppose. I cant afford to add to this dogs vet bill which is still over 2K.********
