Its all about combinations, and using quality should always be important....like there are some west working lines that are known for producing hardness and fight drive but with that comes a higher incidence of HD. Some of these dogs were great producers of these traits when complimented with a female that meshed hipwise. By the same token, you could breed the same male to a top of the line female that doesn't mesh and get an exceptionally hip bad hip report. It really can be very tricky. I think that another plus for Bomber/Bandit is the compatibility with many of the working lines heavily saturated with Troll/Timmy.

I can tell you that Bomber does not carry a long coat recessive ........... in my conversations with Reiner over the years and times spent with him in Germany. Also the age of Bomber and Bandit ...... I have the very first breeding ever from Bomber and my dog in the pic to the right was born June 7, 2008 ..... Razer vom Baphomet  ... at the time Bomber was SchH 1 and already was Koer 1 ............ I think they are like getting closer to 7yrs .... Molly would know that ................... Regards ..... The avatar pic is of a different dog.  My Bomber female was a black stock coat.

Bandit was already Schh3,FH,KKl-1 when he was 2.5 years old.  Bomber was still a Schh1 then.   Maybe that was better, as Bandit's rushed training did him no favors in the long run for continued training/competition. 

They turned 6 in April (April 12, 2006)
