Jyl

When I was about 8 or 9 years old my mom had a black lab named Pebbles.  The lab would sleep in my room, usually on the bed if not on the floor right by my head. My bed room faced the back yard. If you look in the window from the back yard you can see my bed. Well anyways one night Pebbles woke up and whined as if she had to go potty and then went to my moms room and whinned again and woke her up. Pebbles was about 11 or 12 years old at the time. So my mom barely awake opened the back door to let Pebbles out... well as SOON as the back door was open Pebbles bolted really fast towards my room. Then all of a sudden my mom heard a man screamed "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH".... Good old Pebbles grabbed him right at my bedroom window. Not sure where she bit him, but she came back with blood on her and it was not her own. The Police never did find the guy, but I know it wouldnt have been good. Since I know the guy could see me in my bed asleep. The PD did find some blood on the fense were the suspect jumped over.

Pebbles wasnt a GSD, but is a hero in my book!!
