Good example of inconsistent hip evaluations: A1 at one  year. 2 year xray to OFA, indeterminable status, redo in 6 months. 2 years 6 months, OFA good. Duh......

I agree with you Jenni78... And being the person in my office that is "designated" to take OFA xrays... I would have done these again.... and again... until the dog was properly positioned like the diagram that OFA provides.  VKGDs... Your 6 month xrays looked great!  I would take them both and show them why they didnt get it right..

I agree with Blitzen. Those are not perfectly positioned, but not bad. I would send them in, A or Good as a guess.

I contacted the vet that took them and she agreed to re-take them for no charge if the orthopedic vet at the other clinic thought it would help, so I brought him the films (prelims and new ones) and he examined them for no charge but said that while the positioning could be improved, the positioning was not incorrect and his professional opinion was that even if he were to re-take them himself the rating would not change.  He said he measured some of the bones or did some calculation (I didn't really understand it) and the subtle changes in positioning between the prelims and the new films did not change those results.  So just now I sent them in to USCA (along with two individual dog registrations and a scorebook application....oy my bank account! lol).
