By the way, thanks a lot to all the positive posters, for giving me more information. Whatever the puppy looks like, I will love him unconditionally. I will be visiting the litter in two weeks, and will make sure to take photos and post on here.
Cheers!

I really wanted the solid colored dark brown sable czech dog but it did not fit into my life style and i was warned by the breeder right away that it was not a good idea so i did not get her. I am very glad i did not now cause the dog i ended up with is a perfect match. Just make sure the pup u get (the dark one) is the one with the kind of temperment u want for future.  Whether it is pet, personal protection shutzund herding etc.. if u have cats kids whatever your lifestyle just make sure you tell the breeder and see if that pup would be a good fit a good breeder will know if they think or see some kind of alarm bells.

Hard to tell the temperament of an 8 week old pup, so , you just go by the parents  temperament and pick the pup from that litter that you'd enjoy looking at too and pray for the best.  I really see nothing wrong with that.
I do agree though, that if you really like the dog as an adult, the looks do not matter so much, however, if you pick a pup that is not attractive looking, AND the temperament turns out to be not of your liking, YIKES!

I agree with 4mals2sheps and Vitomaniac, get this guy a break! Geez, that's what these forums are for, to ask questions and gain knowledge!  If someone doesn't have a proper comment on the topic, or wants to just be nasty and negative, STAY OFF THE BOARD!  That's not what it's here for. Nothing wrong with asking questions!!!!!
