I resisted even looking at these threads for days, because I just "knew" it couldn't be what it said. But, damn, if it isn't! I agree with what others have said: if you don't even know enough to know what spay means/is/entails, you really have no business even thinking about considering entertaining the idea of maybe breeding dogs. PLEASE, stick to hamsters or guppies, or something innocuous like that.

I once saw an article about a house that had to be condemned because the owner's pet rats had escaped, and infested the house from top to bottom...[shudder!]

Blueeyes...Don't feel one bit bad about not knowing that a spaying is irreversible. I did not know that either...;)
Now I never really gave the subject much thought to be completely honest, but then again I have never considered breeding either...I have not owned a female for 15 years so the subject of spaying has not been an issue for me....
I would have assumed that a spaying was more like having tubes tied....Silly me...lol...You have blue eyes, so you probably are a blonde?? At least you have an excuse...lol...What's mine ????,,,,,lol...
