There have been a few mistakes made along the way but this is understandable with every new concept there will be teething problems, the important thing is to fix these hiccups and move on, this is exactly what we intend to do, the wusv type shows are for you the exhibitor and we will listen to all your comments on what is needed and what is not needed.

Although I agree this needs to be sorted I really feel this should be done somewhere other than on a public forum.  This is just the sort of thing that people who are critical of these events and the whole concept will revel in and will do nothing to encourage others (like me) to join if we feel the goalposts are being moved.  The KC registered clubs have rules that cover 'bringing the game into disrepute' (to use football parlance) and I feel this is exactly what is happening here - in other words don't wash your dirty linen in public.

The KC very wisely rarely exercise that provision. They would face enormous legal expenses if they tried to act like "dictators". Notifying mistakes 'privately' are frequently ignored or not acted upon. The answer is simple, be very careful when considering changes and additions, forethought is much better than afterthought. Some 'mistakes' can have very serious consequences. I have every confidence the BRG committee will significantly improve their effectiveness, I just hope it is not too late to attract back to the Regional Events those who have become disillusioned over the past year.

Jim H. My post which ends with ??????????????????????? in resonse to your previous post.

by Doppelganger on 29 July 2011 - 11:07

I think you have missed my point entirely - in my opinion it is YOU that is washing the dirty linen of the BRG in public and if they had such a ruling would be well within their rights to sanction you.  'Leaking' emails is hardly the actions of someone supporting this new concept, it smacks more of tabloid journalism and we all know where that is heading.

Videx - Same old. I wasn't asking for an explanation from you, you seem to forget you are not the only person on this thread and in fact you are not in a position to know what happened!   I can read and I know what the standard adult class rules are. I was suggesting that there may have been a 'misinterpretation' of the rules, by the BRG, in allowing this dog to enter based solely on the language in the rule, especially as the sentence has a couple of the words incorrectly placed.

Doppelganger - it's a power thing.

Doppleganger: you have missed the point: UNDER SUCH A RULE THEY COULD NOT SANCTION ME! If they did it would cost them dearly.

Is that simple enough for you to understand?

The email you refer to was at the "root" of the DECISION that the BRD came to. As the BRG are accountable for their DECISIONS, once they have made that decision, such information should be open to scrutiny. If one ore more member of the BRG are embarrassed by the disclosure, they are most likely embarrassed by their final decision.

You continue to exhibit your lack of knowledge (ignorance), I have forgotten more in the last few minutes about such things than you could ever hope to know.

Abbey; I KNOW there was NO misinterpretation of the rules. So does the BRG Committee, because they made the Rules which fundamentally undermined the Health Requirements at Regional Events by their decision on Long Coats for 2011.

Perhaps reading it twice may help.

Think about this thread and my posts and THINK - exactly who, what and how am I bringing anything into disrepute? Pillock!
