The key to this question really will be based on what you consider a top working dog. Sch? police? ring? Depending on the choice of venues you can get 3 different kennels. I am into the sport side so my top kennels are different that others. I would suggest that you find the sport you like if there is one. Look at the results at nationals, regional and world levels and see how many times the same breeder shows up in the last 10 yrs. that is good indication that they are producing in my opinion. Not the end all in all but a good start. All about what you need in a dog.

Ceddyg,

Thank you for your response.  I mentioned in a previous post that I own a private security company with a K9 devision and I am looking to develope a relationship with the top kennels so that I can go directly to the source instead of buying from a mass importer such as Vohne Liche Kennels.

I agree about the Salztalbkick and Karthago kennels... I really like what I have seen that comes from the Salztalblick lines. The Karthago lines are also very nice working dogs as well.
