I agree with you the GSA show did have the same entry as last yr both yrs it has been crap.
I also fully agree with you with regard to the boycotting of it and although not there myself I had 4 dogs entered but due to the date being changed I could no longer attend.
You are also correct in what you say about the campaign against the AIGSDA and the state the show scene is in as I said same people showing and entering all the time.
So dig out your football boots , clean your dogs and enter a few shows try improve the situation.

Once again it falls back to Derek Stapleton as stated people had to be begged to enter the shows and people did not boycott the AIGSDA they refused to enter under him, He then went on to ruin the success and memory of the champ show by making false allegations that his dog was poisoned and accused a person that was not at the show. Instead of the net been used to congratulate the winners it was used once again for Derek to be his normal bad minded self. There was no doubt to any one that was there the dog died of what looked like neglect . A 7year old dog that was over weight locked into a trailer straight after been in the ring in what was one of the hottest days of the year, and left there till later that evening,
This is the worse thing in the dog world that you can be accused of and to hang it over some ones head is a disgrace,

OH MY GOD,HOW COULD THINGS HAVE GOT SO BAD I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY BAD ,BEGRUDGING NASTY PEOPLE IN ONE BREED.NOT ONLY ARE THESE PEOPLE WILLING TO DESTROY  THE BREED THEY ARE ALSO SLANDERING GOOD PEOPLES NAMES .BRINGING OLD FACES BACK IN TO THE BREED WONT FIX ANYTHING NO MATTER HOW CLOSE THEY ARE TO CERTAIN PEOPLE .HOW CAN OUR BREED MOVE ON WHEN THERE ARE DOGS BEING STOLEN  AND END UP IN OTHER PEOPLES NAMES ,AND STILL BE SHOWN.THERE ARE TO MANY PEOPLE NOT LONG ENOUGH IN THE BREED TO KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT.I WAS ALSO TOLD ABOUT THE BREEDER THAT IS DRUGGED UP ON STEROIDS THAT HE HAD HIS POOR DOG ON THE SAME STEROIDS  WE ALL KNOW WHO HE IS.(LOW LIFE)....FOR ANYONE THAT COMMENTED ON THIS TOPIC ....HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE BREAD A  CHAMPION? FIRST GUESS NONE!!!!!

Longcoat, not really sure where you're going with that but the 'Breeder' in question only bred one 'Champion' and even with that there was a question mark over that dog and always will be. Was the 'Breeder' not in one of the National newspapers because of the allegations he used an unlicenced vet??? As you mentioned the new people coming into the breed not knowing what has happened through the years, this is one 'Breeder' they should not and can not learn from or respect.

Longcoat I,ve defended Derek in the past & even partly defended him on here .Trust me Derek when he wants is big & bad enough to defend himself  I beleive there are others whom are as bad if not worse than him in this breed, some even have positions of power . But when you breed a female with a high hip score 3 times in a row that is indefencible . It does Derek no favours & more importantly the GSD breed no favours . This along with other actions & the bully boy tactics means that Derek should take a serious look at himself & should never breed or show dogs again

Goldenfalls , I wish everyone involved in this Breed was like you , a sraight & honest talker with the breed & not his own agenda at heart . I will continue to watch & learn & who knows that comeback may at some time materialise
