geraldine if derek told you her BVA is withhin the standard to breed from he is tellin you lies, if derek was tellin the truth he would be on this message board defending his honour and that of his dog but no he isnt, derek has cheated and lied the whole time if you want to be naive and believe him thats your buisness and more fool you. a few new people came into the breed this year and derek burnt two of them and nearly a third, why cant you see this man for what he is?

I think that very little comparison has been made about the systems, other than by me, and then in the context of punishment for the misdeeds of breeders. As I said refusal of registration and exclusion from showing. In that case I do believe that it is simply a matter of money, and the difference is only the amount, unless the SV have been known to impose these punishments.
Everyone is of course aware of the difference in the schemes in respect of health and breed surveying. But that isn't the subject of this discussion.
As you say, there is always someone prepared to cheat, and I believe that sanctions should be imposed. That way we could prevent those that would cheat from getting a shot at the big bucks upon selling a dog that is doing well, and perhaps reduce the incidence of fraud/corruption.

To be fair to Geradldine I dont think she was trying to degenerate Solo . We all know Solo has all the necessary health checks etc . I do think she was a bit naive in seemingly attempting to defend Derek Stapleton when the same man wouldnt think twice of throwing her to the Lions if he thought it would save his own skin

This guy sounds like a real sweetheart!
I am probably missing something as I've had a long day, but does a stud dog owner not check the hip score of bitches he studs out to? Surely they would not stud to a bitch with a high hip score, isn't the phrase 'to approved bitches only' the norm and a bitch with a high hip score wouldn't surely be classed as that ?

Hi, Abbie , yes you are right in what you say, but as she is an Irish ch and had ,had reg litters prior that we did not feel that we question any of the above,OK most irresponsible of us. I now feel that their are more victims in this than i care to think about,i now feel that we are stuck in a position that i cant rectify.

I understand you position and i sympathise, the Ir ch i refered to was not siegerland michael but another. Have you realised the true score behind ciaras hip score ? is this why you removed your initial thread?? pretty disgusted i would imagine as was I when I found out

Hi tony, you must not sympathise, as mistakes can be made , but the post that was removed was an error . as i was told the female score is "23" maybe not true but up to the owner to stand up and speak the truth . I'm as disgusted as u are

Derek Stapelton told me Cairas hips where 6-6.If I remember at the time, I had no reason to doubt what it was, i took the man at his word,
