I fed Eukanuba for a long time. Most of my dogs did really well on it, then my male started to have problems with his skin and coat (dry, itchy)... So I started having to supplement with Alaskan Salmon Oil... Neither the food, nor the oil were cheap. I figured if I was feeding a "premium" food at a premium price... I shouldn't have to supplement... So I switched to raw diet and no more skin and coat problems... And their teeth look great!
Good Luck

going back to science Diet. He was looking a little thinner. Weighed him,  lost a pound where as he was putting on weight. before. seems more hungry, Increased his food to 5 1/2 cups , he is having lots of  gas now.

Lesson learned--- if it is not broken, do not try to fix it. Nothing was wrong when he was not Science Diet but wanted to give him the best so tried this after reading in this and other forums how science diet was bad. Looks like science diet works best for him.

I have a small mutt that is 13 years old and has always been on science diet and he is doing good (touch wood).

Talked to my vet, she said science diet was good food ( they don't sell it in their office).

thanks everyone
