I'm not a breeder, I've never bred anything in my life so that part of the debate is really of no consequence to me.  When I buy a new dog or puppy I buy based on what I want to see and I can see that or not see whether the dog is the WUSV champion or has two dozen street take downs or only has a BH.  I don't think any of the parents of any of my current dogs are multi-SchH3 though my younger dog's sire is doing the AWDF this weekend so that will be his second SchH3.  I guess I didn't think that lots of people cared whether or not a dog had multiple SchH3, either for buying a puppy out of that dog or as a breeding pre-req.  IMO trialing has way more to do with the dog and handler than breeding.  It's a personal choice which is why it's ridiculous for us to sit here make assumptions about other people and their dogs and why they would be doing it rather than just ask them if it's really important to know.  I don't know why anyone would want to know or care why I keep running my younger GSD in Singles (flyball) even though he's already the fastest German Shepherd in flyball and has beaten the breed record time eleven times over.  I have my reasons and if someone asked me I would elaborate but would probably sit here and laugh if I saw strangers in Internet-land discussing my motives, but luckily most of the other sports I do have people that are far less critical about what others are doing and why than in Schutzhund.
