AKC Judge linked to animal abuse case - Page 3

I think SM has cost Eurosport more than one or two sales.

No matter the breed or species of animal or mammal (that includes people) they do not deserve to be abused.

Once again thinking only the worst and not asking for clarification…… so very quick to condemn…

Its obvious that the judge believes that these dogs are just large hairy rats, because that is the way they were kept ..... in squalid over crowded conditions .... just like a nest of rats.......

Not even a real attempt to clarify or apologize. In fact, she stubbornly repeats the comment. That's not making a stupid or thoughtless comment-that is evil and mean-spirited. Typical. If Taunya hasn't learned to distance herself from Kim, she deserves the lost business. I have also pointed to SM as a reason to look elsewhere.

Nice try to backpedal. 

What about Pit Bulls, Basset Hounds (off the top of my head) and any others that callous comments have been made about? 

Read the threads concerning other breeds or GSDs in situations where she doesn't have money on the line and anyone would see this is a pattern- zero compassion or empathy. Dogs are truly just a business to SM, nothing more.

I am trying very hard to think of a logical and decent reason for you to have made such a comment..The comment makes my stomach hurt and I didn't even read the article....You should be ashamed of your comment even if it was misunderstood by the majority of people on this thread.....sigh...

it is more than this "joke" as she calls it, at least for me. I remember her coming on here and talking about breeding her dogs to "see if they produce good offspring" prior to obtaining a title or OFA and then come on here and tell others that they should at least obtain a title and OFA, etc. There are times SM chastises folks for openly advertising on the forums, yet she slips in pic and ads whenever possible. The greatest for me is that SM clearly refuses to respect more experienced breeders and trainers who have offered support and instruction, yet establishes herself as a professional with long standing experience. I just read and shake my head, but finally need to verbalize my thoughts and thus my distaste for Eurosport. Just saying.....

Wow, I'm not even sure where to start or what to say.  It is always horrible and tragic when animals are abused.  It is even more disturbing when someone who is "supposed" to be a recognized authority or expert abuses animals.  Regarding SM, I think dogs are nothing more than a commodity for her to make some extra income.  Like many others here I lost a great deal of respect for Eurosport when they became involved with SM.  For a breeder to make such callous comments about abused dogs shows a great deal about their character.  I guess for some a breeding bitch is nothing more than an ATM pumping out little cash puppies.  When the female doesn't produce or gets old she is gone, just like Hanny and Sita who are no longer there.  You have to make room for the next cash generating uterus......... I mean loving companion breeding bitch.
