Nice looking dogs you have.
One thing really disturbes me , the kennel name "STASI". What the hell got into you to call your kennels "STASI"???

All the best

STASI = Staatssicherheit = State Security of DDR was one of the most professional secret service in the world. I think STASI was the same East German specific phenomena as were East German GSDs. I named  STASI because it's easy to remember for everyone who know history and since I breed strictly DDR working lines and definitely a little bit for fun ))

All dogs from my kennel comes from old working DDR bloodlines and has high working drive. Dogs born in my kennel currently work as border patrol, in criminal police, customs,  security of President for detecting of explosives.

Thanks for the clarification, but I diid not need the explanation what the STASI is, since I had to cope with them, I lived there, terrible it was.
Anyway, good looking dogs you have. If you need any infos on the "DDR" and dogs from there, just let me know. I started with Schutzhund in  the "DDR" 1979, so I have a little insight.
All the best

Sure, Ulf, since you are from Leipzig I realize that  you definitely know much more about STASI.
You said you was involved in SchH from 1979 - possible you was an owner of some of those legendary DDR GSDs in 80s? May be you have a couple photos?
My father was a colonel in Soviet army in DDR in 80s. So I visited him in Magdeburg many times and saw those incredible dogs. Since this time I fell in love with DDR type of GSD. Their working abilities, large bone structures, big heads and rich dark colour was beautiful! Thanks DDR for these shepherds!

If you refer to Schutzhund I can only think of Afra vom Gleisdreieck or Lord vom Gleisdreieck as legendary dogs, but they were not my dogs. Suberb dogs.
My first GSD was rather insignificant , "Falk vom Abtnaundorfer Revier", but I achieved SchH3 and FH3 with him.
In 1986 I got a GSD from Frank Schawe,Owner of the Kennel "vom Felsenschloss", he was something else, 100 points in C at his first trial! What a dog!
Frank is one of the rare remaining breeders who look after the the old DDR lines (i.e.13 and 13a) and he is still a very good friend of mine.
All the best
