I do not know if one is a liver .I thought two were the same dog . I have only seen livers here on the data base in photos , Mahons pups and one tigermouse posted awhile ago . They were all still pups !  Mystere is the dog you think may be liver a solid color ?  I can not see the color of the other dogs noses .

No, the nose looks dark. It is the first solid-colored dog after the R & B.

wow... now, come March and those guys live inside... sheding must be a bitch.

Pretty dogs, though.

I have never seen a white shepherd up close and would very much like to. One of these days, I hope.

Hi Mystere,

The Judge was Mrs Linda Barclay
Class Long Coat Puppy 6 entered
Class Long Coat Intermediate 3 Entered
Class Long Coat Adult 6 entered
Class Long Coat Non Standard Colours 2 entered
Class Long Coat Non Standard Colours 3 entered

I did watch some of the classes but did not get any results for the show as I was to busy enjoying myself
and my puppy had a great time she even escaped her coller twice during her class to try her luck on the agility
as I take round the tunnels on the agility after her training as a treat.

I really enjoyed these photos, too. I don't think I've ever seen a LC white before! Very beautiful dogs.

EMM   I hate to say this but my first german shepherd was a white one and it was a long coat . He was gifted to me by a friend so I do not know about his pedigree . He was the cleanest dog I ever  owned . When he died I went out and bought my first AKC GERMAN SHEPHERD .  He had a regular coat I am not sure if he would have been called black /red or black /tan . After my white one the GSD bug hit me . So blame it on my long coat white dog . I have not seen a long coated white GSD,, untill today in these photos . I must say they ARE ALL NICE DOGS . This is not to say I would ever own another white one as I probably would not .Unless some one really needed to get rid of theirs and then it would have big shoes to. fill .

Just a brief reply. We at the  GSD League of GB decided to try something a bit different at our show this time. Basically we decided to run the LC and Non Standard Colours classes along virtually the same lines as a normal breed show. We had a good championship show judge in Linda Barclay, she and Keith have bred a number of UK and overseas champions, including the 09 Trinidad Young Sieger. The ring was enlarged because that is what the exhibitors wanted. The awards were exactly the same as those on offer in the breed rings. Linda judged as you would expect on construction, temperament, movement and soundness. She placed every animal and gave verbal critiques.
We also had Protection work demo, British Survey ( Korung ), Agility demo, 4-6 month puppy walk and Junior handling for the younger members who come to shows.

Basically we hoped that everyone would try to come and see and take part. Hopefuly that is what was achieved. I am very hopefull that other clubs will try some or all of these ideas for their own shows if they can.

Hope that helps.
