blackthorn is right........Two puppies is alot of crazyness in one house... I'd die if i had two puppys at once..MY gsds now are a hand full and we just got a yorkie puppy wich is a hard headed lil dog....

Thank you all so much!  This is all great advice.  I hadn't thought about the two puppies bonding to each other.  I will definitely concentrate on the corgi for now and consider adding a GSD later.

Thanks again,

Amy

Absolutely!  I have both breeds that live in my home together quite nicely!

ya i dont c y not BUt i did here u should wait for until one of your dogs get older. For example get the corgi first then wait until he is 7 months and then get the GSD puppy.

Consider the sex of the two carefully.I have 3 gsd females and a jrt male. They get on well. Can you imagine if one or two of my shepherds were males!

I've done a lot of fostering (long and short term) and added pups to my house at all different times.   I really liked the BEST adding a pup when the youngest one in the house was about 18 -24 mos.   Then their house and crate training, and obedience foundation is pretty well set, strongly bonded with me, and the can be a good influence on the new pup but still young enough to want to play and help 'babysit' with my supervision.
