Spaetzle, you know you really surprise me. For a guy who is so quick in judging people and jumping all over them, you sure are sensitive. No, I do not have a personal problem with you, you have not given me any reason for it. I am just analysing your statements here. Still waiting for the explanation with the "few hundred dollars" though. Which dogs or puppies cost only a few hundred dollars? Even longstockcoats and workingline puppies cost a lot more than that, IMO. But we can drop that. It was probably just a statement to make a statement. And neither Dog1 nor Ryken1 had mentioned puppies, only you. That is why I had singled your statement out. My conversion rate was taken from today's rate (and the past couple of days since last Thursday as a matter of fact) from the Bank of America, Diplomatic Banking Branch in Washington DC, who of course charge the other way round. The Europeans are buying dollars here, so they have that exchange rate. Yahoo.de and Spiegel.de both had the rate today at 1.2363, which adds 81 US-Dollar to the price of a female for 5000 Euros. Well, sorry about that but I pay more in gas every week now than that. So, the 81 Dollars won't change all that much in my above estimate. Also, I had stated "approximately". But out of experience: We will probably see more fluctations with the crazy record high for crude oil. Dog prices might even go higher. Chris

From my own experience........ We have bought very nice V-rated females with Sch titles between the price ranges of 3500/euro to 6500/euro. One of the females made VA in 2004...in the USA. It all depends....and you MUST have an HONEST contact in Germany. You also must have KNOWLEDGE of bloodlines and the "standard". You must actually know WHAT you are buying BEFORE you buy it!
