Silbersee

Keith Grossman,
thank you for your refreshingly honest post which is rare here. I can understand your feelings about breeding, since I often ask myself why we are going through all that trouble ourselves. But as my husband says: You can't just stop when you have a couple of nice females and very promising offspring. After all, why are you doing all that if not for yourself with visions of the next generation.
It all depends on your priorities as well. For us, it used to be to breed a top show prospect carrying our kennel name. That has long since changed as we are not really into these cookie cutter black and red dogs anymore, even though we will always appreciate a great dog regardless of color or lines.
Cheers!

I found this male on here because i was looking for other dogs with V Wito von der Stadt Schmalkalden in the lines. Its my males 3rd gen and i like how he looks and produces.

Nice dog! I love him and wish he was here in the USA for breeding. Congrats to his breeder!!
I have a couple of cross breedings that look similar but not quite as nice of structure and it would be great to further the improvement. These 2 are full sisters from seperate litters. If line breeding went out farther.... then this would be a 7/5,6 line breeding on Sagus Busecker schloss. Might be one reason why it is consistant?

I am curious to which show lines are known for passing working line abilities.

Seems to be many of these crosses or else I am just sensitized to noticing after all the discussion.  I found myself interested in these little pups:
