Then the hips weren't questionable. Mirasmom. If there's any doubt that the hips are normal because of a possible shallow socket, they will request a re-do that includes the knees.

Thank you for all the replies. I will try and get whole x-ray posted soon. Hard to get pics of film.. She may be 4 to 6 weeks away from heat cycle. Also this dog was sedated, which I will never do again. Couldn't find a local vet who would x-ray without sedation. Found one a state away now, which I will be traveling to when she is a bit older.

Good rule of thumb is at least 2 mos., or so I hear. I have not had personal experience with that but have heard of several forum members' dogs being just loose enough to make the difference between passing and not if they were w/in 2mos. of their cycle.
