So a question for the genetics aficionados out there. I have a pup (not here, I have a deposit on her) that was born last week. Her dad is a black and mom is a bi-color (tar heels, pencilled feet, etc). Currently the breeder is calling her a bi-color girl. So what are the chances she'll remain a bi-color? I know she won't be a black, but wondered if she could also end up as a melanistic b&t or some other variation? I don't really care, color was not on the table, just want a nice bitch to work. But it's fun to think about what she may be. I'm going to keep a photo record as an aside for fun.

Very beautiful baby, I think she will be a bi-color, no chance for a B/T as Dady has no B/T recessive gene nor does the Mummy. Good luck with her.
