That might be the case Konotashi but there is no connection to this type of fawn (Ay) and liver or blue, except that breeders who seek 'rare' colours in the breed may have dogs more likely to carry more than one rarity.
No, the fawn that is associated with blue and liver is the double recessive bb dd that occurs in other breeds (ETA: and GSDs) such as isabella in the Dobe and lilac in many other breeds (and cats). The Wiemaraner is exclusively lilac.

Hi Everyone Glad your all having a good chat about Hugo who i bred myself yes he is a sensational gold sable and yes his dam is a white long coat and his dad is also gold sable long coat.
I must say thankyou to those who have said the nice complements about him we feel the same.
ESCOBAR who ever you are i do not appreciate you stealing my picture where ever you got this from AS THEY ARE COPY WRITED, and yes he is a true GSD TRADITIONAL ENGLISH STRAIGHT BACK TYPE
In the picture he is 8 mth old and as you should know they all go through a gangly stage well i can asure you he looks amazing now at 21mth
nice solid head with excellent big boned mascaline body

a GSD is not just about colour or coat its what the dogs temperament and health is like and this young dog has passed a lot more than some breeder do with their dogs
you steal photos that don't belong to you then sit there like bloody vultures picking over the bones YOU NEED TO STOP AND THINK WHAT HURTFUL THINGS YOU SAY
i am ashamed to be on this forum anymore and will delete myself its people like yourselves that bring a good site down
at the end of the day this dog comes from the German lines that all GSDS come from so you may knock his colour and coat but you cannot knock his temperament and health tests
are you're dogs 100% I DON'T THINK SO LOOK CLOSER TO HOME
