This is Libby on vacation last week at the Jersey shore with her cousin Bouche'.  We found a place where dogs are allowed.  For those of you in the Northeast USA - it is the inlet where the ocean meets the bay - between Sea Isle and Avalon - at the base of the bridge.  Dogs are allowed - no time or calendar date restriction.

Rezkat:

I think it is considered Townsends Inlet.  We were told that dogs were allowed on the Sea Isle side of the bridge that connects Avalon and Sea Isle.  We found one entrance to the bayside - that did not say "no dogs allowed", and spent Wednesday morning there.  Not crowded at all - just a few fisherman.  When we went on Thurs morning a group of seniors called "The beachcombers" were having a walk and were very distressed about having two german shepherds on the beach.  (Libby starts screaming as soon as she sees the water).  We didn't want to cause a big ruckous, so I asked the toll guy and he said that dogs were allowed on the avalon bay side as well.  We had to park on the side of the road - and climb down a few rocks, but not difficult.  The nice part was that we were the only ones on that strip of beach and no horse flies either.   Now that I know it is there - I plan on going down for the day to take Molly.  She has yet to experience the beach/ocean.  There is also suppose to be a beach in Cape May that allows dogs before 9 a.m. and after 6:00 p.m.  I will have to check that one out during my next visit.

Are you training Thursday morning?

Hope to see you there.

Oh cool I'll have to check it out and take a ride down the shore one of these days.

And yes I should be there on Thursday.  :)

Did you get the pictures that I sent of your dog?

I just saw the pic's.  I had to set up a different email address when I set up my log on for this site, and I always forget to check it.  Thank you for the great pictures of Molly.  You were able to capture her very first bite!!!  That was really nice of you to take them and send.  I am really looking forward to training with you guys and hopefully improving both my skills and Molly's.

Thanks again, I love the pictures.

You are welcome!

Unfortunately I've lost my Thursdays off come September so will only be seeing you for the next few weeks.

Hopefully I'll be able to get them back someday.  :)  It was nice while it lasted, all of two months!

Email me your regular email address, that way if I take more pics I can send them there.

This was at the dog beach in Florida.  The middle GSD is mine, the end one (the fat one!)  is my in laws, and then the pointer was a "friend" that they met.
