Fiona,   I could post more frequently, however some of us do not have a compulsion to be part of every thread just to insult people. I'm certain that Shelly does not require an ill mannered lesson in redneck economics from a piece of dimwitted trailer trash like yourself.

Let’s see, you’re very into dogs having titles, did you manage to get paperwork on your pup? I know the dam needed to get a valid title for the USA/SV, which is typical mistake for someone who pretends to have knowledge. It’s a shame that your breeder has yet to title a pup from her own program. I suspect being thrown out of ever training club might have something to do with that.

Ya'll need to chill...

If nothing else think of my health....all this popcorn is making me and Ruby fat...we'll be rolling down the hill in no time.

IMO - people should take public bashing in private...maybe it's just the military in me - but when people engage in open argument's it makes all parties look silly, childish, and unproffesional.  I dont have to be experienced, knowledgable...or old even to notice that...the offending parties tend to stick out a little more in my mind as the doltish party - but Molly - I know it's personal and it's hard not to take it as such - but it's alot less energy if you just kind of let it float on by....and they're more likley to disappear that way.

lol - Shelly - my college degree is currently over due and over budget...oops...lol...happens to everyone and sometimes in the silliest of ways.

SS, here's a suggestion for you to consider.  If a bitch misses, a good idea is to have her Rx'd BATRIL as soon as she is bred, and then continuing for the duration of the pregnancy until they whelp.  According to a vet I respect, Batril will not harm the puppies during gestation, but most other antibiodics will.   I'm sure you probably already heard about this.

Also, best wishes breeding your excellent bitch.  With a good stud dog you should get some very nice puppies.

Screwedinct:

It might be easier to respect your posts and opinions if you give us your name so we know who we are speaking to. I have a hard time understanding where conclusions are drawn about others when others don't know who they are speaking to. I personally can't tell if you're Molly, Kandi, or Chuck but you originally signed on to attack a person who resigned from a Working Dog Club. Were you involved with the club or the people directly involved? Why don't we draw this campaign to a closure and have Screwedinct breed one of her males to Gabi at no cost.

Fiona- you obviously came here to pick a fight if you thought my post was directed at you in any way when it most certainly was not. Many people in the dog world are filthy rich, this is their hobby, and have no idea how blue collar folk live. Nothing more.

Best of luck to you, Shelley.

Shelley, if that which you've posted is the truth then there's no excuse for over budget and beyond deadline for a kennel.

Like I said, George's large, commercial construction management firm employer, and ALL of the clients they serve, are reasonable people with realistic expectations, fat budgets and slush funds comparable to Super Lotto jackpots.   At home, however, he works for me... a woman with none of those attributes! Poor George...

If you have a great relationship with Tracy and are so enamoured with her dogs, why don't you make some arrangement with her for one of her famous VA studs.     Wouldn't be a problem, except for the 3,000 miles.

y

Shelley, I'll pay your stud fee if you'll have your husband come here and teach mine how to make me a kennel building like yours.  I'll even throw in meals while he's here!  OK?  He can even go over budget a bit!  Please? Only if you KEEP HIM.

NO  BACKS

!

On the other hand,I do understand why at this age you are wanting to try and take advantage of the eggs dropping while you are able and sympathise with that...so I wish you luck!    That's my concern Deb. thanks.

HEY.... another thing... I wann know why your husband doesnt have those worker/friends over there getting that kennel DONE (G). Cobblers syndrome, I know...I know....and the dentist's kids always have the most cavities!

Shelly does not require an ill mannered lesson in redneck economics Hell no! I'm surrounded by rednecks here in coal cracker country!

SS, here's a suggestion for you to consider.  If a bitch misses, a good idea is to have her Rx'd BATRIL as soon as she is bred, and then continuing for the duration of the pregnancy until they whelp. SUPER suggestion, Preston. I will get her onto that as soon as she is bred if I can get it from my vet.

Also, best wishes breeding your excellent bitch.  With a good stud dog you should get some very nice puppies. Thanks Preston. Coming from YOU, one of my all-time heros in the sport, that means a lot!  If she produces this next time as well as she has in past, I'll be deee-lighted!

Many people in the dog world are filthy rich, this is their hobby, and have no idea how blue collar folk live  YOU TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUT OF MY MOUTH! I'm struggling to re-invent my once-proud dog business after a long hiatus, on a "budget" largely comprised of sweat equity, my experience, reputation and good will.  Its a long uphill climb... but I am determined to make a "go" of it before I get too darned old!

Best of luck to you, Shelley.  Thank you, and thanks to ALL the cool people who have contacted me privately to offer their help!

Actually, I HAD stuck aside a large chunk of money for breeding Gabi, and a few other things, like travel expenses to the USA Sieger Show next month.  If the whole front end of my van hadn't come apart at 70 mph on the turnpike, repairs not covered by insurance because I didn't hit anything/anybody (by some miracle :-) I wouldn't be in this mess.  If it weren't for Tracy and Denise, Goof-ball Jed and I would  have to stay home from San Jose, me hopelessly depressed.

Shelley,

when I need a new kennel building (hopefully soon), please send your hubby our way. Joe would loooove to have him stay with us for a while.

Good luck to you with your breeding. I hope it works out, since I know how frustrating breeding a middle-aged female can be. I just bred my Gibsie again after being unsuccessful with her all last year. Now it's the waiting game for me, too. Maybe, I need some popcorn. I talked to a couple of repro vets about that already, but they said that the worst thing you can do is to skip a season on a middle-aged female. A lot of times, the hormones will be out of whack for good. Better to breed her a few times in a row and then retire her earlier, provided she is healthy and the puppies do not take too much out of her.

If you were interested in a "mixed" breeding, I would offer you my husband's dog Quinto (aka Ronaldo von Arlett).

Regards, Chris

P.S. (Post Script) Maybe, we can do without the profanity? I have a 10 year old daughter who loves to look over my shoulder and read posts.

Quote FionaDunne:

"And, by the way genious, "PS" means "Post Script".   As in, an afterthought that needed to be added.  An "afterthought that would require retyping the entire letter or correspondence from years ago.  There is no "script" here.  It's simply a matter of going back and including your comment in the post. That information should raise your own IQ considerably."

Nothing makes me happier than to see someone who is purportedly so very intelligent, painstakingly taking the time to insult the intellectual capabilites of others, make such an ironic misspelling of a word...it's "genius", dear.
