Hundmutter

Don't forget his garage, with its stack of crates.

by hexe on 10 April 2013 - 02:04

Hundmutter, oh yes, mustn't forget the spacious living quarters for the dogs: the stacks of crates in the garage!  And just think, he was offering doggie day care there at his 'facility'...

Just my 2 cents here. If  any of you guys claim to loveyour dogs and not only your dogs but all dogs and yet you are sticking up for Hesler, then IMO you are no better then he is. Everyone who has been around a while knows his track record. Yes I am very much against him joining the GSDCA--he's not doing it for the dogs or make himself a better person--I agree with Blitzen, he is going to use it as a marketing tool and we definately less of that and more people who truly have good intentions with their dogs. I've been to several Nationals and I am met some of the greatest people in the world there and somehow I can tell you no he isn't going to fit it. Can I imagine Hesler talking to Helen or Carmen, just to name acouple of brand name people--hell no I can't see it at all. So even if he does manage to slip in  as a member, I don't think he is going to fit in PERIOD and if he thinks people are going to welcome him with open arms, again he is living in a fairly land. I have already said I had to let my member ship lapse because of finances this year, but that doesn't make me not support the club and it doesn't mean I will reapply for membership when I am able. So because Iam not a member right now, it doesn't mean I can't have my opinions'
All this arguing and nit picking about who said what is absolutely BS--I've heard his track record, I've seen the videos, he's tried to scam me......................and anyone who comes on here and doesn't know what time it is then they need to archive the whole story rather than coming on here and saying how terrible we are. Seems when this person does come on here, it always turns into her. We're not here to discuss Brittany or Thomas--this thread was meant to discuss Hesler in all his glory and why the GSDCA doesn't need people like him. Anyone remember the Hunte case? This sort of reeks of the same thing...................................

It is very sad but think he has gain a small yet strong following in the dog community due to his current dog & training group. I don't associate with him personally, but he or his "Friends" tend to contact me occasionally. When I purchased a adult dog, Chuna v Houserhaus I unknownly also purchase a unforeseen connects to him. she was purchased from an outside source, but he keeps taps on her & any offspring for sale. Some of the older phone calls / emails were very far fetch. But now it seems there are many that contact me very proud to be training with him & how great his dog is train. When I explain to these people I don't want to have any associations / connect / contact with him due to his past, I'm now told "he has changed & is more mature now"
they seems to get very offended at me, when I answer normally "God bless his current dogs" I'm told they see his dogs every week at training & they are very well cared for / treated.

So it does seem he has a small yet strong following within the dog sport community. He has a training group, does training, & looking to proceed with further titles with his dog. At this point he must of had enough supporters to join GSDCA-WDA.

Helser is not yet a GSDCA member. His application has been received and is open for comments for 30 days after it was published in the April issue of "The Review". I don't know why he says he has been a member for a month. Filing an application doesn't necessarily result in being elected into membership of either the GSDCA or the WDA.

His application is stll open for comments. Those with first-hand experience with Helser, pro or con, can submit it to the Membership Committee - dkarloff@aol.com

Just curious can he trial his dogs without this membership?  I have not trialed a dog yet so also asking for myself.  Going to try and get my girls BH here in a couple months so if I need to I need to sign up I guess

GSDCA/WDA and UScA (and the rest of the AWDF clubs) are full of liars and con men and BS artists. There are registered sex offenders who get less of a negative reaction then Little Timmy Helser..  I hope he gets to trial his dogs at some point.
If being an arrogant, opinionated asshole was a reason to deny membership to all the dog clubs? There'd be a lot fewer members.
OH well I've got dogs to train and things to do. Some people change and some people don't :-(

So, Thomas, write a letter to the GSDCA supporting Helser's application.  You might not want to refer to other members as registered sex offenders though, someone might ask you for proof of that.

Good luck helping Helser get himself re-invented and legitimized again. Good to know that there are open-minded people out there who are willing to stick up for a guy few others will.

Troopscott, I think he needs to belong to one of the AWDF clubs so he can get a scorebook. I'm sure someone else here will give you specifics. My dog already had her scorebook and her BH when I got her.
