Gouda
I am correct in my last post, I was referring to your preaching to other people like myself who are not interested in your faith or what you believe in, I am the opposite of yourself and Raymond.

Raymond
I do not deny myself anything if i can afford it, so certainly i am not in denial as you seem to think i guess i am one of those people you are thinking of.
And again, I am not suffering from Alzheimers, i think that is the word you meant to say
And again Raymond, that terrible disease is not one to be taken in the context that you have on here, it is no joking matter to the poor people who do suffer from it I hope it does not strike me or yourself down.
I think i would rather be put away than to go down that road.

Still Steve you called me a nut bar for preaching the word of God,which He has commanded me to do. There are people hear that do appreciate the word of God [YOU WILL NOTICE THAT i USE THE BIBLE FOR EVERY POST I AM INVOLVED IN}  So what your saying Iam a nut bar because Im the opposite of you.  Steve, its so simple for you to not get involved in my posts, dont read it.

I think he means you are a "nutbar" because you, the "Preaching Christian" are scared to death of dying and going to Hell. Steve the atheist, isn't scared of dying or going to Hell, in the least.

There is a bit of irony in that, yes?

And then, to insult the very one's one is supposedly commanded by God to save (via the onslaught of Bible verses that substitutes for conversation) is just ballsy! It is that logic, you use to justify annoying Evangelical behavior, that you are blessedly unawares or delightfully unabashed of, that you cling to---- as if letting that bit of literal-Bible-interpretation control go, would then in your mind have you sitting astern of the ferry on the river Styx. Just my opinion. And if you don't want to hear it, then don't post on a public message board.

Have a great day Gouda! smiley

Could it be that it just annoys the unbelievers, and the fence sitters. I hope you know what is meant by a fence sitter. Does it really bother you that Im in the scriptures everyday.
You say your a Christian, but the words of Christ and His apostles seem to upset you somewhat.
My priority in life is Christ first ,and after that everything will fall inplace.
No I dont have to read your posts, but I choose to,and at times enjoy them.

Have a wonderful spring day

Blessings Gouda,

Love is in short supply, one day it will be completely outlawed. Along
with the truth......

Don't lay it down at the feet of hate witches and their monkeys.... Talk to the ones who
want to hear. They know the voice of the Lord. I wish I could be more like you but
I have  to over come my bad temper....I don't think you should have more than one topic
on the Lord, that is a great plenty. It is a painful topic to those who don't believe.

He said behold I stand at the door...he wont try breaking the door down to get followers.
His people hear his voice.

Beetree did you get the shovel out of your ass yet?

"The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses' seat; so practice and observe whatever they tell you, but not what they do; for they preach, but do not practice" Matthew 23:2

So gouda....I will say that only once...be a Christian in practice and not in your over the top preaching...because right now you look like Pharisees who do more talking than doing.

by beetree on 27 April 2011 - 15:04

No, because you are playing a numbers game, thinking if you say the same thing over and over, you'll finally hit the jackpot, as if the unbelievers can't pick up a Bible for themselves, which by the way--- without your personal colorations, I deem are more effective in getting clogged ears to open to the word of God*.

God's word never upsets me, the self-appointed messengers, yep, sometimes they do.

It is a glorious day, thanks be to God!

*(And for that matter who cares how many men wrote what words of his, God wanted to survive. That's how I reconcile, that.)

Sock Puppet

I have no problem with Christians, but I do have a problem with people trying to sell me something when I am not buying. I turn them off like I turn off that sales call that comes at dinner time.

When will Christians learn, unless you are asked, why do you feel the need to convert me? What if I felt the need to turn you into a gay and all I did was preach to you about being gay, would you like it? No, probably not, so what gives you the right to continue to preach to me?

It is not your duty to convert me. Worry about yourself and what you do and let me take care of myself with my God. Is that so difficult?  I am not going to try and convert you, but you feel it is your right to convert me.

All I am saying is why do you try and push your agenda on others? Do we push ours on you?

IMO many Christians, because of a lack of sound Bible doctrine, think that they need to "cram" for lack of a more suitable word, Bible truth down people's throats....

Christians can not change the heart of any man or woman....The abundance of our words is not the answer ...This is solely the job of a Sovereign and Merciful God....

Sure, God's people should always be ready to give an answer if someone asks for the reason for our faith....Being a witness to God's word is a biblical mandate...: )

The real problem is that many Christians think too little of God and way too much of themselves...

My husbands favorite saying ..lol.. a little less talk and a lot more action....;)

God is able to accomplish all things.... It is our job to live in a way that others want what we possess inwardly.....: )

             Off to work...bye...: )

          ..Deanna...: )
