this is just a little thank yu to Carol E. and Alyson for the gift presented to me and all the helpers at the show yesterday.much appreciated.also thank yu to Carol and Brian for opening up their beautiful home and grounds to us.yu are so lucky yu 2.If this is the way forward, then i,m in full agreement.it was a fun day,no nastiness,no hassle, everyone obviously enjoying their day out, that includes the dogs.as for the double handling????? wot DH.was far less than at the KC shows.okay i know it was only a puppy/junior event, but still competive imoh.i,m sure if the kc would like to attend they,d see that if handled correctly there should be NO PROBLEM ,with allowing DH in the designated areas at breed shows(KC LICENSED).well done everyone on a well organised show.i will think of this day everytime i have a cuppa now.thanks Carol and Alyson.Carole S.

Just a quick note to express our thanks to EVERYONE who was there at the First Puppy Junior Event yesterday.  It was a very, very enjoyable day for us and well worth the hard work that had gone into the preparation and on the actual day.  This was due in no small part to the enormous amount of support we got from the GSD fraternity, moral, practical & financial.   Carol & Brian McMurray loaned us their beautiful facilities and put on lunches for the judges & stewards, as well as helping with the setting up and taking down.
Thanks to the Judges, Heather MacDonald, Paul Cassidy & Joyce Stephenson, who carried out their duties with integrity, the Surveyors, John Ward & Nikki Farley, who di the same in the Breed Survey.  The Stewards and helpers on the raffle, tombola & ID tents, Kayla, Karen, Carole Spellman & Yvette Pitt , Mo Lakin who did microchipping at a reduced price, Steve Havers who did the Schutzhund assessment all were absolutely wonderful as were the Sprules family, Linda, Steph & Kevin who did the teas, coffees & cakes, Eddie Stephenson & Brian McMurray on the barbecue.  Got to mention too the irrepressible Steve Foran, Sally Gunner & Natalie Jarman who stewarded so efficiently for judges and surveyors.  Trevor who was on car parking. To those who helped clear away - exhibitors as well as the "A" team, thanks a million - it meant that we were able to leave the venue as clean and tidy as we found it in  amazingly quick time.   I hope I haven't missed anyone but I am sure to have because just so many people were there helping, it was really great.  Thank you all once again.

Thanks   too to our many sponsors, to those who brought things for the raffle & tombola and lastly to the exhibitors, who  were absolutely super.  I saw many examples of new people being helped by experienced people - it was really good.
Well, it started out as a quick note, but the scale of support meant that I've gone on a bit longer than I meant to.  But thanks again everyone - it was great and we can't wait until the next event!

It was indeed a very memorable day - and to all who took part, a great big WELL DONE

It took NO effort to do anything for the show, as we were doing it for ourselves, all like minded people with the love of our breed ,and its welfare.  When we all looked around at the end, and tents and gazebo`s were taken away, there was not one scrap of litter left, the ground looked like we had not even been there, showing the respect and gratitude that everyone had for Carol and family, for their generosity.  Many thanks to all of you that had your dogs and puppies microchipped, I was able to give a good donation to Carol and Alyhson for their pot for the next event.... soon may it come.  Some of our friends were missed as couldnt be there, but thats life, dates cant be good for 100% - hope you will be available at the next events...

Great tombola, fabulous cakes, and the barb-q couldnt be bettered, and Eddie has half promised to do the B B Q at the Midland Regional Training day 19th June.  So that has to be a pull !!!

Seriously great day, party atmosphere, everyone mindful of Carol and Brians property and great respect being shown all round.   More fun, gnerosity, and good atmosphere than we all hoped for when we first starting talking of these regional SV type events.  Interestingly, lots of new people with nice puppies just coming to have a look, and also, coming to their first show, and being given lots of help and advice.    Brilliant.   Thanks for the pressie for helping Alyson and Carol, most un necessary but a lovely gesture.      Mo
