Bhall, my sympathies to you--to have said that to you is just mind-bogglingly cold...and probably BS, all the more distressing.  The vague necropsy results sound like Hessel picked up a fungal infection such as coccidioidomycosis, etc., which rarely has a good prognosis if the infection is in the lungs...and if that was the case, there may be some comfort in the fact that such infections have no correlation to the standard of care being given the dog. Dogs that are especially scent enthusiasts are at much higher risk for the fungal diseases because of their tendency to always have their nose in the dirt....

But I'm sorry you had to find out about the passing of a dog you loved in this fashion.

beetree, some people refuse to learn from their mistakes, determined to cover the same ground over and over again in the delusion that they will make things come out right THIS time.  It never does, of course, because the sole constant is the very thing that will NEVER change--the woe-burdened individual themselves.  No matter where they go, who they meet, it doesn't matter--they replay the scenes and it's always the same outcome...and then it's always "poor me, poor me" to anyone who will listen. 

I just wish there weren't so many of these Sad Sacks involved with dogs, horses and kids, because it's the latter beings who always end up paying the ultimate price.

Well, now she's emailing me to stop spreading rumors. Um, what rumor did I spread? But anyhow, for everyone's sake, real owners of dogs, dogs themselves, maybe we need to drop the speculation for now. We already have seen plenty of how Vickie reacts to any perceived or actual adversity. 

? Didn't know she'd gotten banned...Jen, you're right, if she's not able to access the board to tell her side of things, then the subject does need to drop until she can do so.

Well Hexe, if she were able to post, it would only involve double talk and nonsense, same as any other of the numerous times she's been in a fix.  If you can't tell the truth, just make it up as you go.  I sure wish WOULD tell the truth of what happened, but I won't be betting on it, that's for sure.

Vickie, I know you are reading this post.  Please email me the report so that I can put this behind me.  If I did not care I would not ask for it.   However, I care so much that I am determined to find out.  I know s..   happens but how can I rest not knowing?  You said people are not treating you fair.  Honestly this is not about being fair and I do not care.  I want to know what happened to Hessel and I have a right to know.

Things do happen, and sometimes it seems it happenes to the same person constantly.  when it rains it pours.

I've had a string of bad luck before, it is not fun.

we have had a weird couple of years weather wise down here (I live within a couple hours of where Vickie lives), and it has definitly affected the dogs in different ways.  I have not had anyone get sick and die here, but have heard other breeders discussing issue's at their kennels.

yes, BHALL not being contacted when Hessel passed was wrong.

not posting to defend anyone, infact I've also received emails from Vicki today stating she's been trying to call me and to "correct" what rumors are being spread around about her.

and she does have a website down, but also has another up, run a google search, you should find both, one is under a webs.com address
