Thanks Kitkat and to the others that complimented Hannibal. We have always considered him a black sable. He is a Zidane Vom Haus Sevens grandson.
YR, Hannibal's mom and Bossy are littermates.

Really what about that...Bossy is a great girl.. I should have never sold her to Marty but I did...He has been a wonderful trainer for her and she has produced high drive , wonderful temperament pups...D'Loui is as social as apple pie and he is a hard driven dog and is very protective and intelligent..
I am getting a male and I had to hand over my 4 customers to Marty as Hexi had no pups..
I will of course, raise this male for my protection , and am anxious to find out how he colors..He is not sable..he is black /red we think..right now not much color on paws and only a spec on his eyebrows.
Bossy, Kandu and D'Loui
D"Loui vom Metzner is a son of V Zico vom Merlin KKL1 IPO 3 AD and V Vella vom haus Dexel KKL1 SchH1 and sire of Bossies pups.

One female on bottom , two blk/red? males, and two sable males in back of box...Bossy; 7 days old, born on My birthday July 18
Hutchins:; Hannibal is awesome..I hope my male turns out like him..All of Bossies males are heavy boned and full coats and work a holics..Hard dogs..
The pup I get is very dark and very little red on him ...He would turn out like Hannibal if he stays that way..

Loving all these gorgeous pictures! Have to admit I'm a fan of dark sables. Here is some more eye candy for you.
The above guy has darkened up since that pic and looks bi-color now, but he is truly a sable. all of that black fur is red at the base near the skin. He is really gorgeous.
This all-black girl below does have a few tan hairs between her toes. Someone had mentioned that they heard that tarheels could not produce black. She has been bred with sable and the pups came out either all black or sable.
This last girl - she is GORGEOUS in person. She looks like undulating black when she moves. In person, you mostly see black, but that sable just ripples when she walks/runs. I love her coat. She is a sweetheart, but her dad (sable, not as dark, with a black mother) was SCHIII titled and a "real dog." And had cause to prove it with an intruder.
