Just caught up with this Jackie...boy you are going through the mill.  Keep at it....your turn is coming to kick ass.  Yours too Eldee. Sometimes you just wish life could be a little bit easier though. Reading through the struggles people are having/have had to deal with, I think why couldn't it just be a bit easier?  Dogs are such a gift, they never let you down. 

Eldee, trust one who's been in your position... you will come out on the other side of this wondering why you had been there to begin!  You'll be okay, the you that was lost will find its way back and you'll be free to be what you want to be, instead of someone else version of you.  It's can be trying at times, but just hang in there, I promise it gets better.  You'll come out ast ronger and better person for it.

Jackie, I so hope the nausea has passed by now and you're feeling better soon.  Hang in there girl, we're all here rooting for ya!

Jackie I came late to this party but have followed your struggles and triumphs over the last few months and I must admit you are one strong woman and I hope you beat this and get back on your feet ASAP.

Men are idiots, yes, but sometimes it is the woman who walks. Sad anyway you look at it.

Ok, not all men are idiots! I have recently come to the surprising revelation that some men are very nice! However, men that hurt my friends ARE idiots! Is that ok as a qualifier?  jackie harris

and I will add that I walked out on my first marriage, after a broken jaw, fractured skull, and a lot of bruises...only after watching him beat his 6 year old son, & knock his 9 year daughter on her butt, & being chased around the house by him with various weapons. The  finally went on that I was not going to "fix" the relationship. Still dang near broke my heart, & left me with a permanent emotional scar & distrust. So, please forgive me, my tangle with a for-real idiot has skewed my view of things.....but I'm slowly coming around! Jh

A  lot of men hurt women and yes they are idiots. I wasn't offended.

Sometimes we think we're with the right person, but wonder why it never gets easy.  That's because we weren't with the right person, we were just trying to justify the wrong decisions.  It doesn't necessarily mean that one or the other person is a bad person, but the combination is just plain wrong.  Once you get to the point when you can accept that, you're able to move on in any direction you wish.  It's a time of rediscovery and reinvention and when you have successes they're oh, so sweet, because you've done it on your own.  The past can now be left in the past and the future is wide open, to make of it whatever I wish it to be, within the realm of the possible.  Life is good :)
