Making his remarks to an audience of several hundred at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida prior to the start of a one-day "Conference on the American Space Program" for the 21st Century", President Obama reassured those in attendance about his support for NASA.

I have not found the other speech promising the next day to the next group he spoke to that explains he will cut funding for NASA as they want if they support him. I will look some tomorrow if I have the time.

Reports also say that the east coast is going to be hit with longshoreman strike and that will cripple thousands more dependent on their jobs. More will loose their homes and it is not because their homes cost more than they should like most of you seem to think is the only reason people are loosing them.

So the Congress' cutting the funding for a more modest program had nothing whatsoever to do with the NASS job loss? Are you serious? Did you look at the stats of the job situation when Obama took office as compared to today? Do you realize we were loosing thousands of jobs every month under Bush and that he created fewer jobs in 8 years in office than any other President? And you think we should go back to the same plan?
What about the strike? What does Obama have to do with that?
