UPDATE on Hex:
This was on Facebook: A very sad update for Hex and his family. Hex was found beside the road this morning, with tags removed, near the training field. Hex is being taken to Chicago for an investigative autopsy. Someone/s stole him, kept him, killed him, placed him where he would be found...I hope that they find and prosecute those responsible for doing such an evil thing. All my thoughts and prayers go out to Hex and his family
Who ever had Hex put his body by the training field knowing he would be found there. Very sad for Hex RIP

Oh my goodness, that is even worse than I imagined! How horrible. My thoughts go out to his family. This is just sick.

jettasmom---Could he have been released and then got hit by a car......or is there info that leads you to believe that his captor actually ended his life? Either speculation is horrendous, but I guess I just can't
believe someone could be so cruel to intentionally kill him....hence my question. It's just awful. No one will know what to say about this outcome. People who truly love their dogs are devastated for the dog and his owner.
