It's such a protracted mess, I think they expect you to just give up & go away...or maybe kick the bucket in the meantime...but I don't plan on doing either! jackie harris

Thank you! I am anxiously waiting for my appointment with the surgeon tomorrow, hoping he'll schedule having this tube removed....I'm feeling much better, so now it's driving me nuts! Probably a good sign! Then I'll be able to restart my chemo...3 more cycles & I'm done! Woo-Hoo!
On the flip side of the coin, I still haven't received a determination about my disability benefits...so no income, but my health care benefits are still in effect (as far as I know!).
So thank you all., your generosity is keeping us afloat right now! I can't imagine the dire straights we would have been in if it weren't for you all....& I know, I know; I don't 'owe' you, but I swear if I ever come on some sort of windfall you certain someones will have a happy day! And I'll have fun doing it!
Keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow! I feel great, my appetite is back, no fevers, no major drainage...I can't see why he wouldn't take it out? Dr. Ansgar has only shown moderate interest in my tube, mostly she tries to grab it & yank, she's still very puppy-like in that if I forget to tuck it in & it's dangling it's a toy for her....thinking of her playing tug with that gives me chills, all the sutures are still very intact....that'd be a big ouch! I've had to wipe it with alcohol daily to sanitize it after her inquisitive nose inspects it, lol, even when I try to hide it.

Pretty good today! I am restarting my chemo tomorrow, & will have minor surgery Tuesday to remove the tube...so soon -by March1st- my treatment plan will be complete!
Still have no word on disability benefits...
