Abby & Susie & all my database friends...if I could only show you how much you mean to me...how valuable your well wishes are to me...I already feel as though I've been given gifts beyond measure!
I am waiting for my doctors return call, I may have to go into the hospital tonight or tomorrow...this lymphocele is going to be dealt with...
But I will share my address, will you give me yours so I can send you a card? I guarantee I'm not going to stalk anyone, lol!
This is the season of love, & I love you all, my wonderful friends!

Jackie  maybe you could give use the name of the store where you get your dog food and people food and those that want can get you  a gift certificate to use as needed and you won;t have to let out your address to the world.

It is Christmas you know let us give.

Great idea Laura! A gift certificate to Pet Supplies Plus is perfect! That way, Jackie, you can use it as needed. I do not see you as a charity case at all! I just want to do something to help. Humor me, please :)

Face it, Jackie--you're going to let us give you a hand, and there's nothing you can do to stop us....heh heh heh. Teeth Smile   I think it's a very safe bet none of us were planning to drop in on you & Carl, so no need to worry any of that stuff. We just want to send presents to your pups!

As many have said, few people are able to go through life without needing a little 'boost' from someone now and then, and I'm a big believer in the 'pay it forward concept'. There's a lot of us here who have sharp tongues at times--I sure do--so it's nice when we can let someone see our nicer sides, too.  So, since Jenni asked first, [and she's got her Internet back again at home] send her your mailing address, the rest of us can touch base with her to get it--that way you're not feeling overwhelmed with PMs or emails that need responses. Jenni, you can beat me with a stick for volunteering you if you want. Tongue Smile

I hope you HAVE gone to the hospital to have that damn lymphocele drained into submission, as the thought of you having to endure that abdominal pressure for a moment longer makes me grind my teeth in frustration for you. LOVE the pic of you and your girl

Thank you Hexe, StarrChar, LauraH, I will not forget your kindness, & I will pay it forward to someone else when I can...God bless you all!
I'm having the lymphocele drained on Thursday, right now I'm ready to let my daughter sterilize a beer tap & tap it, lol! Last time they were supposed to send a specimen for cytology...instead they did a fungal culture....I hope we can get that right this time, too! Needless to say there was no fungus among us!
Thank you again for your kindness and consideration...

I don't mind, hexe. I was going to volunteer that to Jackie, but not sure I wanted to be responsible for handing out her address. I'll PM or email you my thoughts.

Even if I didn't have internet, I'd still have email from my phone. I wouldn't be totally locked in the dark ages. It's just a big pita to post on forums from my phone. Stupid thing.

Well I had a drain placed in my abdomen today. They pulled off 1.5L fluid, and left a drain with a collection bag in place. It hurts like hell, & will keep me from working. So far the bag has drained another pint since I've been home. The doc said that a lot of drainage increases the probability of malignancy. I am so depressed right now...
On the other hand, I saw Jenni's thread yesterday and cried all day over it...the kindness and generosity you all have shown me is beyond words....I can't bring myself to post on that thread...it's like it's so precious I'm afraid to sully it...but thank you, thank you, thank you....you all are truly angels...jackie harris
