maybe because he is breeding away from the old slovak lines, something to think about, very big difference between bitework and seriousness between those lines and sportlines mostly

Even Jinopo has used West German sporting dogs, Bazi and Ax for example have a high percentage of those lines.

yes and it shows, but that is more proof of what im saying, having that said, I value Novotny quite a bit higher than many other breeders that run to the next flavour of the day west sport dog

I honestly don't know what some people are griping about when it comes to West German Dogs. I like my West bred dogs. A little DDR here and there doesn't hurt but overall, I prefer my West bred dogs over the defensive dogs I've seen coming out of the Czech Republic.
Can't complain about any instability, drive or grip issues. I also like linebreeding on certain dogs and was lucky to learn from the best.
