Tig:
I posted a pic of Elsa for you from this weekend.
Flix is 1.5 years old.
Thanks for the input everyone. Axel goes in this week for a sperm count if every thing looks good. I,m going to collect him for a month or so. I,ve decided to breed Cruise to Elsa this October and possible do a A.I. next year with her and Axel. All depends if I have homes lined up for the 2015 breeding.

Good post TIG, I have been lamenting the same bottle necking for WL breeders for years. Of course the WL line people ignore this because they "like" the excessive prey drive they have created, of course the SL people missed it entirely because they think all criticism is about their lines....lol. But I definitely think WL has gone the path of others just the focus isn't angulation or color, but rather drive.
as for this pedigree, I like it a lot, BUT the critical piece is will the pups from these dogs be bred to some alternative lines?.....hey but what do I know....smile!

However, I always like to look at the extended linebreeding to get a look at what's in what I call the back 40 because I have learned what masses back there can affect the outcome of the breeding.
Tig, I wish you'd post here more often! [likes her post...]

Really, No one likes excessive prey drive any thing excessive is a problem and dealing with problems are not fun in training. Cruise has a very good balance of Prey and Aggression. Possession is his issue. From the toy to the sleeve he wants it and wants to own it. Even as a pup in the welping box his toys were his and god help any interlopers attempting to take them.
Line breeding on Troll v.h. MIllinda the one issue i,ve seen is size difference, My litter had small to large in both males and females. I,ve seen the same issue in other Troll line breedings.
I,ve not reached that "Bottle Neck" spoke of previousy. I,ve seen no issue that would point to it like missing teeth, color issues, health issue,s ect... The litters seem robust and healthy.
