In the old Dog Sport magazine, a guy would have an adv which started '' Stop paying too little for your dogs''. Anybody remember who? His point was you get what you pay for. [ if you do your research]

smiley, has that breeder been in business for long? I guess there's market for everything, just need to know how to market your dogs appropriately to the right crowd

I saw an add like that a few years ago on a Texas showline breeders web site.
I remember thinking, "Not in this life time would I pay that much for an 8 week old puppy", I don't care if it's parents pooped gold.
I still feel that way..... There are far to many variables/possibilities and no guarantee's that the puppy will develop into the sound (both mentally and physically) and successful dog that it's parents are.
