I don't think Gracie just happened. She was left to fend for herself, and God knows what happened to her that made her decide not to trust other dogs!
I sometimes even wonder if her a**hole of an owner may have deliberately tried to get her to fight. She has some scars in her ears from being bitten.

I wasn't thinking that of your dog, some people are that rotten, that they do promote dog fights, just between their own dogs.
There really are people that should just never own a dog. Or any animal for that fact.
You certainly are putting the effort in on her...which is wonderful.

Thank you. It's turning out to be a long, hard road. There are no easy fixes with her. She frightens the other dogs with her intensity, and even though tails are wagging, things can change in a flash. She feels insecure, so she has to try to dominate the other dog, and as they are already wary of her, the instant she puts her head over their back, things go south with a BANG!
Got her CGN certificate in the mail yesterday, which was a real shot in the arm!
And we're hard at work on Rally-O exercises. So far, there has only been one minor incident when she got too close to another GSD female, and there was some lunging and growling.
If we do attempt to get the RN in February, she will be muzzled unless she's in the ring or in her crate. I still can't trust her walking through a crowded building full of dogs! And even dog show people can be pretty stupid sometimes about controlling their dogs....
Her trainer and I will likely start doing BH training together in the New Year. She has a malinois rescue she's hoping to title, and I will be working with both Star and Gracie towards the BH.

Camera lens was lower than dog's back line when photo was taken, also lens should have been moved a bit to RHS to be on center of back.
Black/tan GSD bitch of good type, medium strength and above medium size. Good proportions, Good head and expression, Withers could be slightly higher, very good topline, good croup length, also very good position. Good tail and very good tailset. Good hind angulation, good hocks and feet. Good underline, stands straight on forelegs, slightly short front upper arm but of good shoulder angulation. Stands slightly flat on front feet. Allover a very nice looking bitch of good type..

Khaled, I am afraid explaining how a dog should be prepared for show ring is a too big topic to cover in this post, but hopefully an experienced member can show you some guidelines. Good luck.
