WSach thanks for sharing that table. I took a quick look over there and yes I am sort of amazed that some of those hips passed, much less with a good.
Hey Xeph, don't let it kick you in the butt. You are knowledgeable and love the breed--just hang in there. I don't know how to read elbows very well so I will reserve comments. But the hips look damn good............you'll be OK.
Also let me add this about the elbows. I think because this has not been the "norm", I think a lot of vets aren't doing the positioning right. I have no pics of any elbows cause mt vet said they would pass and showed me why so I felt there was no discussion about them. Also a little over 6 yrs ago I had my boy's hips done and my vet talked me out of the elbows saying it wasn't necessary--few had it now and some other hogwash which I believed. I feel they're OK and what came out of him was good, but I wish I had been better informed. I wonder now if he didn't know really what he was doing cause he had to take 5 of the hips to get a real good one--which was good. I told himn maybe they'd go excellent and then was informed no gsds ever go excellent which we know isn't true.
