Yes, well said, Ibrahim! I, too, have learned an awful lot from this forum.

Great post Ibrahim !
Reggie
Hmmm I'm starting to feel the same way ... I thought i had it bad
from the attacks on my integrity with trying to do something about
Epilepsy risks. Its a whole lot worse over on THESE threds ...
What is getting into everybody ? Is someone sprinkling "angry
dust" throughout the ether ?

Ibrahim...I know I already posted but I wanted to add something.
When somebody post on these forums, the people who read it see words on their monitor, sometimes people interpret the post correctly sometimes they don't .
When it comes to reading emotions behind a post it can be difficult, but in your case its would be difficult for anybody to not interpret this post correctly and to not know the emotion behind it. I think for you, who comes from another part of the world where there are not the resources that most people on this forum have, this forum is invaluable to you. You can tell the appreciation and gratitude you have for a place like this. It is a place for you to educate yourself on dogs, a place for you to get help with problems, and a place for you to share your joy for your dogs. You may not have the forum people with you there in person, but you have them here via the forum to share in the journey of your dogs and your continuing education.
It Was a really great post.

Start by visiting kennels and not websites.

Wow Ibrahim, for English being your second language (maybe 3rd or 4th?) you express yourself so eloquently! Great post!
"This forum is a precious place for ones looking for help and or advice, it is a precious place for those who want to learn, it might not be the best place for fake know it all."
Really agree with that line.

I believe there are many good breeders in this country, many who are importing good dogs and breeding good dogs. Many who are honest and stand behind their contracts and don't turn their backs as soon as the puppy has left the property.
BUT - "Top Breeder" should be held in a different category as "good breeder". A "Top Breeder" should be one who ONLY breeds titled, health checked, structurally correct dogs who have been judged to be so by real judges, not the friend or neighbor. A "Top Breeder" should keep back puppies from their own litters and raise, train and title those puppies themselves.
I think there is an easy "Ten Top Breeders" if you look to Europe for the list with the criteria mentioned (only breed titled dogs, raise/train/title dogs from their own program themselves). In the US though, I doubt there are as many as 10. But however many there are who breed only titled/health checked/conformation rated dogs and who raise/train/title their own pups, those are the Top Breeders in the US.
