"I am sure they are idiots to you as no one can compare with your self appointed genius. lol. I remember you putting my intelligence down because that is how you show your self appointed superiority."

There you go again.  Instead of pointing out how I was wrong, you respond with sarcasm.  Not a true learning experience.

Problem is, your original post did not mention "genomes."  It said Lenski was "able to track every little genetic change" to "trace exactly how that new trait emerged."  "Every little genetic change" could mean a variety of things including mutations.  "New traits" are adaptations.  This is now defined as "micro-evolution?"  Ok.  That wasn't the definition I was using.

Simple solution.  No superiority necessary.

Micaho,

The GSDAdmin has a hard time understanding that:  A new trait is not the same as new genetic information. No new genetic information was produced spontaneously in this experiment. In fact, it would be impossible for such information to be produced.

I've seen one of those hornets from hell. My son a couple years ago when we were at a friends house, was staring at the ground for a long period of time in their back yard. I was thinking I better go check this out. lol

Here one of those hornets was ferociously digging into the ground - like on a mission. I never knew hornets dig into the ground, so we both stood there and watched this thing dig.

Next thing you know out of that hole comes a Locust and the hornet attacked it like I've never seen .. it was aggressive to the hilt. It would not let up just kept biting and stinging - we felt bad for the Locust but after seeing how that hornet was determined and focused on the Locust - we left it be afraid it would turn on us, because that hornet at one point stopped for a second - turned and looked me right in the eye. Other bugs, bees and spiders look me in the eye before after a quick study me watching them, but not like this hornet - this hornet was intimidating.

That is a hornet from hell and I seen one in Pennsylvania 3-4 years ago.
