I will make one more comment and no more: if sch is all there is, the breed is doomed.

ScH is not the only venue in which a dog can prove his/her breedworthiness.

My point exactly, Keith. :)

Soooo...Do titles make the dog...or...Does the dog make the titles...It seems it's taken Americans such a long time to come around to the SV way of thinking...Now...It seems that even in Germany that the thinking is changing and/or being challenged...

For a few years now there has been some new Working Dog/German Shepherd Organizations that are in direct competition with the SV in both Registrations...but also in Working Titles and Certifications...These organizations have different ideas on what is and isn't acceptable for breeding...To open up the Genetic Pools to widen the Working Ability of the German Shepherd Dog...

I think we can all agree that a pedigree doesn't make a dog...Meaning that a "Good Dog is a Good Dog" no matter the pedigree...I'm not saying a pedigree doesn't mean anything or isn't an important TOOL...But that's just what it is..."A TOOL"...And such a Title...It's a TOOL...

P.S.
Bob...I think you're on the right track in your breeding...Keep up the good...thoughtful work...
