"The housing market is still tanking thanks to the Dems."

Not sure what world you live in but the housing market is recovering nicely in most of the U.S. despite the kool-aid you're drinking.

"like Congressperson Frank forcing the banks to give loans to people that can't efford to pay their mortgage."

Are we still trotting out that lie?

"I lost $200.000 on my home value."

Then your home was over-valued to begin with.

"So don't tell me your better of Renter."

No, owner...mortgage free.

by mtndawg on 18 September 2012 - 15:09

Paying too much for your home is now Obama's fault.  I love it.

by Seppi on 18 September 2012 - 15:09

Now we have you and Obama 2 bullshit artists

by Seppi on 18 September 2012 - 15:09

I said Barney Frank not Obama. Obama just can't figure out what to do. To busy raising money for himself not the people of this great country.

"I have not gone back and searched for anything on the topic, I do not have to, and you are welcome to log in hours doing so as I frankly do not have the time or inclination."

So the answer is no, you can't substantiate your unfounded claims.  I knew that ahead of time; the question was rhetorical.

"Things have not improved, they are just invisible to many people because they themselves are not being affected or their hands are some of the ones getting the money that was to solve problems."

At this point in time in George W. Bush's first term, there was a net deficit of jobs from the day he took office of 856,000.  At the same point in Obama's first term, despite the largest economic downturn since the Great Depression, there is a net deficit of 261,000 jobs.  You're suggesting that we not only return to the policies of the former but actually double up on them.  How does that make sense?

Ask yourself this simple question: if, as conservatives claim, cutting taxes on the rich benefits everyone, why when the stock market is so strong and corporations are earning record profits do we still have the circumstances you describe?  When is that money supposed to trickle down?

seppi, you stated earlier in this thread that you vote for your own pocket.

Good Morning Keith and as always loving your posts. Something I just want to touch on that I started with when all the Fox News supporters started coming out of the woodwork on here. Before the right could even say what they were going to change or how they were going to make things better, it was always "get Obama out"--I said then but what are they going to do for the country and this question has only been answered with lies and more lies.

Newbie you don't have time to do any research but you have time to come on here and write long paragraphs about nothing. How everything is wrong with Obama and everything is right with whoever is running against him.

Is my situation better? Yep every day. I am back in school, I am able to pay my bills and support 5 dogs, my car insurance is cheaper then it ever has been, I have a better vehicle then I have ever had, I am able to go to more dog shows. Yes I have a mortgage and I know I am not going to ever lose my house because I don't live beyond my means--no credit cards--I pay cash or I don't get it. And my healthcare has improved 100%......

As far as the poor, I think another lie was told about how since Obama has been in office the food stamps were way up. Not true--they were way higher with Bush in office, another thing Obama "inherited". I have said it before and I will say it again if a person wants a decent place to live and to work, then move here cause it is happening here. As far as the homeless, most of those homeless people WANT to be that way because they want to continue to do their drugs and drink and don't want to follow rules. Hell anybody can flip a hamburger or make drinks at a fast food place and the average person feels they are too good for that kind of job. I say be hungry then, live in a box if you are too good to do anything to legally make a buck. I've done it--I've had a lot of jobs I hated but I had to work as I think everyone else should. How do I know how the homeless feel? Because I met some and talked to them and because I research, read, and watch a lot of PBS. Ever heard of Frontline or POV? Didn't think so.

So you guys who would vote for a 2 headed turtle just to get Obama out are going to make it not only hard on yourselves but also for those of us who DO know what time it is, go ahead. Be careful what you wish for........................

Two Moons

When you consider who is really running things it matters little who sits in office, but unless you want more instability and chaos you might consider keeping the status quo a little longer.
Either way your screwed, but maybe it won't be so confusing the second time around.

Choosing from the choices they offer you is no choice at all.

Folks inside the beltway don't call Obama Bush-lite for nothing.  Basically he is a continuation of the same policies and agenda with a somewhat different presentation. The same folks that picked and ran Bush2 also picked and now run Obama.  Bush2 was the worst president America ever had and bailed out the banksters by giving them trillions charged back to the US Taxpayers.  Obama also repeated the same pattern and has continued the wars and corruption.

That's why many folks wanted Ron Paul, someone with a clean background and no owned by the Int'l offshore Banksters and multi-national corporations.  But thanks to Republican vote fraud and other manipulative games, Ron Paul's delegates were fraudulantly pushed aside, kept out of the convention count. Folks need to get up to speed on the facts.  Ever since the assassination of JFK US politics has been heavily manipulated and sometimes completely controlled by the CIA, the action arm of the offshore int'l banksters and large multinational corps and big oil.

And yes, Moons is correct again, unfortunately, as he usually is.  There is no substitute for age & experience.

Jesse Ventura, former Gov. of Minnesota appeared on Pierce Morgan show last night.  Here is the transcript for anyone interested.  He just published a super book supporting exactly what Mooons stated.

I saw that last night. Preston, I always figured you're Jessie, and watching him last night, seems even moreso. He had Pierce flutter pated last night...first time I ever saw that happen to Pierce. I'll vote for Ventura when he runs for press, talk about having brass ones!!
