Jessica, please have rescue  do eval before pulling. I know Julie can only take if they are dog friendly. Kitkat- do you have any requirements? If so, speak now ;)

No, I will take them as long as can get along with each other. I have enough room to keep them apart from my other dogs if they are not dog friendly.I can work with them if that is what is needed

OK- thats great! So, it looks like we are covered :)  From what I am gleaning so far, its about $175 per dog to transport.  I will have to tally up what everyone will kick in, and see how short we fall.  I can twist some arms on my end, if need be ;) I can also probably play *find the hat* with my weekly allowance ;) Once we find out if Jessica can get foster for them, I will then make a valiant try for a volunteer transport.

If people can PM me with what they can donate for the transport, I will at least know what I have to work with, if a paid tranport is needed.

OMG!!! Just heard back from shelter!!!!I had emailed last night. The dogs were pulled on Saturday afternoon for transport to OK, to their forever home!!!

Just a word for all of you-I am not a crier, but looking at this thread I had tears in my eyes from the outpouring of care, concern,& offers of very generous donations, exhibited by all. I couldnt help but think that if the outside world worked together, like we did on this thread, the world would be a better place... Thank you all for your generosity and willingness to fight for fur kids you never even met!
 

 

 

Our prayers have been answered, Thanks to everyone for their help and offers of help. Togeather, we can make a difference, one (or two) dog (s) at a time. I am moving forward with my plans of a rescue . Thanks to Steph for helping me out and many thanks to Marjorie. Now, how about that other poor boy on the other thread?
