Vets are all about MAKinG A LIVING>>>most have no experience of GERMAN shepherds...
END of subject.
NO it is not worth days, years of managing a sick puppy...ME is a sickness..and it won't be cured.
TELL your vet to go visit A GERMAN SHEPHERD BREEDER, and tell her you do not want her advice you want an xray and you want to know why this pup is throwing up.
As I told you in the pm...discussing what we say to the vet and then discussing here all your worries can be detrimental..
choose wisely what you tell publically..It would serve you better to pm the breeders here and listen to all of them and YOU decide what is important..
Selling or giving a pup with mega is not ever what I would do and I already pmed you and discussed why.
Life is already more complicated with healthy family and healthy dogs and pups and trying to maintain sanity in a world of sickness and vile...so do not add another to it..
Man has to be the alpha over his life and he has to make decisions for the BEST.
Tell your vet half of us on here have way more experience than she does with raising and breeding german shepherds. My own vets, all three of them will vouch for that one..

I think you need to persue this, with another vet if necessary.
If nothing else, you need to know 100% what you are dealing with, and how severe it is so that you can make a proper, educated decision on how to properly care for this little guy.
I wish you the very best with this little one, but PLEASE do persue this further!

Ace was recently limping and we couldn't figure out why. Took him in for an X-ray which turned up nothing. So my option was since he was already under to go in to an old wound and see if maybe there was something in there that wasn't showing up on X-ray since the swollen digit and old wound were on the same foot or to wake him up and treat with anti inflamitories and wait and see and if it didn't get better then bring him back and start fro Scratch. So, knowing that opening up the old wound may find nothing I opted to do it anyway as I wanted an answer now not in three weeks. Plus it would have been more expensive to have to reseda tw than to just continue alon while already sedated. Anyway the exploratory turned up nothing. X-rays are normal and we still have no clue why he favours the one foot but I'm glad I did the exploratory and rules everything out from the get go Otherwise we would have been forking over another $$$ to do it now and it would turn up nothing as well.
Bottom line it's better for the vet (and she encouraged me to) to wake him up and treat the limping and come back in three weeks if he hand not stopped and we would go through this again. More $$ for them. Bigger pain in the rear for me. Treat the cause of the problem not the symptoms.

no vet charges that
It is 15.00 at my vet for a pup 20 .00 for next age and if adult 35.00 plus 20 .00 if they have to dispose of the body..
15.00 plus 20.00 is not 150.00 Something is strangely wrong here...I pmed you ...the others above have told yu ....take the tiger by the tale now..YOU make the decision
