I would imagine it takes some money and influence to officially stamp the papers with fraudulent results. This may be a not uncommon practice in CR in order to sell dogs along with other official misrepresentations. This may be just the tip of a huge iceburg. I would have to think though that dogs are a way to bring much needed US Dollars into a country that does not have many goods to export. Many Americans have been sold inferior dogs and are speaking out. Never wise to kill the geese that lay much needed golden eggs. Personally I have had worse experiences from dealing with Americans and have had very good dealings with SR and CR people but know of other such frauds like BHall has been subject too.

Wow, person has to be very stupid to try to screw Bhall in selling bad dogs to her.
They just lost one big American avenue there, not to mention what other future revenue they will loose from her advising people who NOT to go to for dogs.

Wow. those are some of the worst hips I have ever seen. Doesn't leave you much choice as far as treatment vs $$$$$ procedure vs... well, you know. Neither one of them are worth the cost of the crate they were shipped in.
I am so sorry, for you and for the dogs.

It's terrible that she was lied to, but those are far from the "worst hips I have ever seen." Those dogs can likely be fine pets for someone who will be dedicated to keeping them lean and exercised and healthy. I sold a dog for a friend who had worse hips than that. Last I knew, he was 5 or 6 and going strong...no surgery. To say they're not worth the crates they flew in is pessimistic, imho. I hope someone gives them a chance.

Geez, Jenni. I said SOME OF the worse I've seen. I meant that their worth was minimal from a commercial point of view. After all, they WERE SOLD COMMERCIALLY.

Sure, I've seen a few worse hips, but not many, and I've x-rayed 100's of GSD's.  Some were comfortable, with correct handling and treatment, clear into their teens. Some were not. Two had NO sockets. They were given to loving homes, handled well, swam and kept lean, never submitted to cold temperatures. My own beloved Onyx's hips didn't look an awfu lot better than Dog #1, and he worked, pain free, till he was 11, lived happily to 12.5 with natural supplements, good nutrition, only a bit of medication the last year.

I am not going to apologize or explain everything I write. I don't have time.

Well, both dogs are doing great and are in pet homes.  However,  I am sure they could have found wonderful homes in the Czech Republic without all the stress.  Who suffers the most?  THE DOGS!!!
