Sue, I sent you a PM. I stated in my PM that while I haven't had time to do much more than skim your article, it was very helpful. My Heavens, why in the world would you have any worries about copywrite infringement? I am not a breeder, I do not deseminate information about dogs besides the occassional advise I give on this board, generally to the effect that owners should take an ill dog to the vet, & not try to self diagnose.....just common sense stuff. My expertise is in nursing, I am a nationally certified hospice nurse...which is where I have been for the last few days, since Monday anyway, at work. I do apologize for not being as prompt in responding to you as I could have been, if I had not had to work. My husband cares for the dogs while I am at work, & he has been, at my direction, decreasing the amount of food given, & limiting the amount of time with her bowl, & not observing her while she eats. As Vixen, Steve1, Malshep, Crysbuck, Adi, Jade, a couple others privately & you, all recommended. So---Thank you, Sue! And Thank you everyone else, as well!
And Yes, I suppose, after recognising her abdominal distress, insisting that my vet do an ultra-sound to diagnose her intersusseption, rushing her to the surgeon in time for her to be saved from a horrible & painful death from a necrotic bowel, happily paying the $3700.00 to save her, nursing her painstakingly back to health, & carefully resocializing her after her recovery.....Sure, I am her problem. She looks miserable, doesn't she? Thanks again, Jacqueline Harris LPN, CHPLN
